You favorite after-work soirée Kiss & Tell Party is back from the dead to celebrate our favorite time of the year... the season of the witch. For our first party at Black Flamingo we have invited our fellow enchanters Lori Napolean, Katie Rose, and Shawn O'Sullivan to keep us dancing deep into the night. Early on, Kiss & Tell hostess Seze will be playing her favorite sexy songs to sip cocktails to.

Our magical friends will be playing cosmic disco, spooky italo, darkwave, electro, synth pop, iconic witchy jams, and vintage dance classics.

Lori Napolean aka Antenes operates a laboratory of self-made analog sequencers and synth modulesbuilt and manipulated in the name of rhythmic, sonic, and spatial exploration. Inspired by the Buchla 100 modular system and featured in the modular documentary "I Dream of Wires," Antenes' signal path transforms synthesizers into sequences that burst with percussive energy, bouncing sound through sound like so many fuzzy AM radio stations during a late night drive.

A Brooklyn resident by way of Chicago, Antenes' eclectic vinyl DJ sets dive into acid-laced techno, shimmering electro and beyond, with an ear for odd percussions and syncopations. Her solo production debut, The Track of a Storm EP on L.I.E.S. reveals three tracks of otherworldly techno replete with "lazer shot synthwork" and "ghostly noise layers." She also performs experimental music and installations infused with field recordings, radio static and messages between the wires.

Further Reductions aka Katie & Shawn O'Sullivan Shawn O’Sullivan and Katie Rose formed Further Reductions in 2008 as an outlet for their shared passion of electronic dance music. O'Sullivan, known for his recent techno releases as Vapauteen on L.I.E.S., 400PPM on Avian and Civil Duty (with Beau Wanzer of Streetwalker) on The Corner has been quite active lately blurring the lines between techno and noise music. With Further Reductions, O’Sullivan’s rhythmic sensibility is fused with Rose’s pop leanings to create super lush and atmospheric tracks that work both on and off the dance floor. Informed by the sounds of classic techno and early house, they subtly substitute the structure of functional club music with a more primal absorption based in their unique collaboration. Seductive vocals coupled with organically evolving sequences create a complex narrative that penetrates the subconscious in a way that conventional club music rarely threatens to.
