Kiss & Tell: Fireside Favorites
Holiday Party and Mix CD Swap
Wednesday December 22, 2010
8pm - 2am FREE
Guest DJ: Kendra & Very Special Guests
K&T Resident DJ: Bethany Benzur
Hostess & Party Pics: Seze
For our special Holiday Eve edition of Kiss & Tell, we have invited our dear friend and true life of the party, Kendra Borowski. She promises to get us all in the festive holiday spirit with her enthusiastic set of disco, cock rock hits, and heavenly holiday classics. You might have seen Kendra doing push-ups on The Bunker dancefloor and dancing her ass off to her favorite songs. Kendra has years of experience playing non-stop party jams at her Brooklyn party Back in Black, numerous techno parties, bike races, and fabulous fancy weddings.
Mix CD Swap: Along with sets by Kendra, our resident disco dolly Bethany, and our secret special guests, we are hosting a mix CD swap. Please bring a CD (or two, or three) with a full track listing to the party. Decorate the jewel case if you are feeling creative and crafty. Go nuts with the packaging, music genres, and track selection. At the end of the night you will go home with a lovely mix (and maybe also a lovely date). The ladies of Kiss & Tell promise you a lovely night, whether or not you were naughty or nice!
Dress Up: It is the most wonderful time of the year. Dress the part. Silver, red, green! Sparkles and tinsel-top tiaras. Ice queens and snow angels. Holly hobby harlots and mistletoe maidens. Salty Santas and evil elves. Hate the holidays? Come head to toe in black, black, black. We promise not to put coal in your stocking.
Kiss & Tell, a monthly party at Rose Live Music in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has been producing unique theme based events since 2007. Kiss & Tell DJs play italo, house, disco: classics and edits, electro, synth pop, homo haus, girl groups, gothypants, coldwave, new wave, and other sexy dancefloor treats.

Guest DJ: Kendra Borowski
Kendra hates DJ bios (too much history, not enough jokes), so here is what you really need to know about her. As an unknowing 90s house aficionado at the ripe age of 13, she bought a Jomanda cassingle. The rest is history and she's still in love with what her mom once called "washing machine music." Kendra functions as NYC's veritable dance music information kiosk (she can tell you a good party to go to any night of the week) and she likes to do push-ups when dancing is no longer enough to express her moves on the dancefloor. Basically, if you're having half the fun that Kendra is usually having at a party, you're in good shape. Her favorite gigs have included slots at Bunker, Annex (RIP), APT, Avalon in Boston, the Harlem Crit bike race and her classic rock/Motown party on a 150-ft sailboat with the notorious Deanna Asta. Now are you coming to the party or what?

Kiss & Tell Resident DJ: Bethany Benzur is our beautiful resident disco encyclopedia and vinyl purist from Georgia. Ever since she emigrated to the Big Apple in 2007, Bethany has been ruling the dancefloor at Kiss & Tell parties with her Southern charm. The DJ nerds are regularly awed by her selections, and she joins us each month to warm you up with her mix of raunchy electro, glamorous dark disco, and soulful street funk. Bethany also does a monthly podcast with Kiss & Tell regulars Dang and Tal: www.sowrongsoright.com

Kiss & Tell Hostess, Photographer, Designer: Seze Devres started Kiss & Tell as an extension of her raunchy knitting circle at Trash Bar on December 7, 2005. At first only a few people showed up to her new cocktail party. However with a lot of help, support, and encouragement from her friends the party has become its own little beast. When she is is not dreaming up crazy themes and guests for Kiss & Tell she is a full time artist and designer. Seze's images and designs have graced dozens of galleries, record covers, posters, flyers, magazines, and web sites. She also co-hosts and photographs the guests of The Bunker, a world renowned weekly techno party in Brooklyn.
